Hi looking for torque settings on tata indica rear wheelbearing with collapseable spacer

I may be unfamiliar with the torque settings for the rear wheel bearing of a Tata Indica with a collapsible spacer. But on a general note, the torque specifications for the rear wheel bearing of a vehicle can vary depending on the specific make and model of the car and the condition of the vehicle.
It is best to consult the factory service manual or a professional mechanic for the accurate torque specifications for your specific vehicle. The manual will have detailed information on the torque settings, and a professional mechanic will have the tools and knowledge to ensure the work is done correctly.
Please note that it is important to use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to the specified torque to ensure the proper clamping force on the bearing and prevent damage to the bearing or other components.

How to replace rear wheel bearings ?

After taking off the wheel, unbolt the main stud bolt, usually there is a security pin holding it in place. Now you need a puller to remove the first bearing, and the second bearing. After replacing these you tighten up the brake bolt all the way, and turn it back 1/8 to 1/4 turn so that the beake turns easy.

Does the Tata indica rear wheel bearing have a collapsable washer between the two bearings

Tata Indica LSi 1.4 RHD model. First time working on an Indian brand car. This one has rear brake linings or shoes as they are also known as. I used the method someone mentioned here to remive the hub after I couldnt get it out. But the other side I battled then realised I had a huge enough 3 legged pully puller which came in handy. As mentioned remove the wheel then the cap for the bearing followed by the 24mm nut and big flat locating washer. Then fit the wheel back on to the hub with the other parts removed and fit the 24mm nut on to the shaft but just the tip. Use the 3legged puller to tighten up against the nut which will then pull the wheel, drum and wheel bearing off the car. Simple as that. No need for pulling the wheel back and forth with force to remove it. You wont get it off if one bearing is sitting on tight. Cheers
