I have a 92 Firebird with a 3.1 L engine. Ran rough for about 1 mile shut off & wont restart. Turns over fine. I replaced ing.module & computer. Checked for spark (ok good spark at the spark plugs & can see the spark jump at the plug tip) Ck fuel presue & delevery ( good, 40 psi & good delevery) Ck timing chain (ok in time) checked compression, was 60 psi from flooding. pumped oil in each cyl & brought it up to 150 psi. Wont hit a lick. Just turns over. Any help except junking it would be great. I am stumped. Thanks all
ARE YOUR INJECTORS SPRAYING??
Use a NOID light on injectors, Possibly Autozone will loan or? buy, if no blink check the compute grounds , The grounds complete the circuit, So the computer is NOT sending power, it's providing a ground, so check them grounds. If it does blink , and hasent started in UITE a few attempts, don't question me on this ,I'm a 30 Master Mech, for real, CHANGE the spark plugs PLEASE. Don't forget the proper amount of fuel, spark, must REACH the chamber with a set timing waiting for compression to break apart the molicules of gas/O2 reaching the chamber at the proper time and ka pow that's basicly how ANY GAS engine wont start or run right with a look into the same area of problem , then the computer takes over but that's another time. good luck

Maybe ok.
Yes, had the fuel rail out & watched them spray.. I think the rings are stuck / colasped. I had low compresion 60 lbs on most cylds. I thought due to flooded condition , washing the oil down of the cyld. walls. I injected oil into all cylds. & compression came up to 130 / 140 lbs. per cyld. The eng. hit a few timms & tried to stat but to no avail. Now it just turns over with no hits. Compression is still good. I am stumped.
