SOURCE: 1998 Lincoln Navigator rear wiper motor
First remove outer wiper ,take off plastic guard there is a bolt underneath it remve wiper thenremove 2 screws that hold grab handle on inside of rear door.remove 2 plastic push tabs with removal tool.pry plastic cover off carefully removing push tabs with removal tool or flat blade screwdriver about 10 of them if I remember correctly pull bottom half of cover out of each conection and lift off at center. peel plastic from gate carefully as you have to put it back on.this exposes the motor disconnect grey plug to wiper motor ,three 8 mm screws hold motor to tailgate best of luck
SOURCE: 2000 Lincoln navigator tailgate and glass will not open.
1) see for the fuse under the panel
2) and try it again.
3) Test the motor for defective, LUBE the mechanism very well you open the entire door, test the switch for open or defective, see any wires connector, open, break or burn. see the diagram attached

Most likely your going to have to remove any trim/plastic panels covering the inside of the hatch to get to it.
This part of diagram for power windows. Check voltage at fuse--relay--circuit breaker, use digital multimeter.
Sometimes when battery voltage is lost, some modules have to be reprogrammed?
