Cabin Air Filters are usually located behind the passenger glove compartment. Remove that and you should find your cabin air filter.

P0300 Random misfire - lean condition , vacuum leak , low fuel pressure , fuel filter plugged partially , mass air flow sensor .
If the misfire is random, check for the following conditions:

EGR--Leaking gasket, Stuck open EGR valve or Leaking diaphragm.

CHECK AIR FILTER, AIR FILTER HOUSING FOR BLOCKAGE.
VERIFY INTEGRITY OF THE PCV SYSTEM.
CHECK FOR VACUUM LEAKS.

Maybe the refrigerant charge of r134a is low on pressure. Have that checked. I hope that the air conditioning tubing wasn't disturbed when all of that service was performed.

It really shouldn't have affected the a/c if they stayed away from that system.

Richard you have to check if your car uses to filter the air-conditioning closed the lid of the engine and where the breeze is a clean-clean grill before you turn off your air off the compressor and that was only working to remove the blower evaporator at all moisture-check that you have good drainage evaporator vote you all that water. Check the refrigerant charge of your system. If there's no pressure in the lines, the whole A/C system will shut-off. Check for leaks in the tubes, hoses, filter dryer, pressure switches, and compressor fittings. If the system has no charge and there's no visible leak from the items mentioned, the leak could be in the evaporator coil or condensing coil.

The air conditioning filter that your manual speaks of is known as a ''cabin filter'', it is much differant then your engine air filter. It filters the incoming air into your vehicles interior. So if someone has told you to replace your ''air filter'' they are more then likely speaking of your ''engine'' air fitler. You should check your engine air filter every oil change. If it shows signs of dirt, then replace it. Hope this helps =)
