Checked both fuses in the holder that contains stereo as well.
SOURCE: Dash lights went out.
Check for fusible links near battery and check for underhood main fuse box.
SOURCE: my head unit interior lights wont work
check the fuse again, and look for a bigger fuse that feeds that fuse first fuse. go to the public library and they have a car manual section, or go to the website and order a wiring manual.
SOURCE: dash board lights went out
start by checking the plug in the back of the cluster
if it is loose push it in failing that check the grounds make sure they are tight
good luck and take your time
did you check all the fuses or just under hood and forgot about under dash too
SOURCE: cigarette lighter does not work looks like
the fuse panel is on the left side kick panel as you sit in your drivers seat by your e-brake where your left foot sits. The fuse is clearly labeled and is noted in the owners manual. I had the same problem with mine. My fuse was fine. Went to dealer and bought a replacement lighter. Works fine now.
be careful if you replace with a lighter other than the one for your vehicle. It may be off a little size wise and not make proper contact and still not work...........been there done that.
SOURCE: no power coming thru power wire to my stereo decks any ideas?
You have two wire of 12V + going to your stereo, one is hot all the time and one comes from the ignition switch ( which turn on the stereo when you switch on the car), if it's the +12V one which is hot all the time, you can take another wire from your car's cigarette lighter 12V outlet. if it's the ignition +12V one, you can trace back the wire to ignition switch and change the wire if it's broken.
Hope it helps and please rate the answer if it was helpful, thanks!
