I have 2 codes I get on my 1994 crown victoria. 998 and 122. I changed the TPS but I still get the code. As for the 998 I have no idea.

At first I had a 172 code on O2 sensor, so I changed it. I was losing power going uphill and it runs/idles bad until it gets warmed up and then it runs better.

Vehicle power supply to one of the transmission solenoids. I researched this code through ny shop computer and it is very vague. I have never experienced this code in all my years repairing cars. You may need a breakout box to find this problem as the ECM on these older vehicles are like dinosaurs. Hope this helps

122 is TP low (possibly grounded or open circuit) - TPS
that suggested it's not really the sensor itself is bad, but a wiring problem!

gotta trace and make sure the ground circuit and or wiring to that sensor is not broken

as for the other 3 digit code, no idea as well. reset the ecu/ecm and read the flashes again

I have 2006 crown victoria p71 car starts but no accleration

Both codes are for the throttle actuator control, and could have been set when you ran the engine with the component unplugged.
I would have the codes cleared and see if the computer resets the default settings next.

Check Engine Light Crown Vic 1994 - runs great

Hello
When the service engine soon light (Also called the check engine light) is turned on this is to alert you to the fact that Powertrain Control Module (computer) has detected a failure somewhere in the systems it controls you may not feel any difference in the way the engine runs, this can be the transmission or the engine or emission system, there are fault codes set in the modules memory for these faults. What needs to happen now is to have the powertrain control module scanned with a special tool called an OBD2 electronic engine control scanner or a OBD2 code reader. Once the code(s) are read then you must perform the diagnostics for each code and make the appropriate repairs based on the findings of the diagnosis that was performed, this is called doing "Pinpoint" testing.

'94 Ford Crown Vic Headlights

They are changed from within the engine compartment... at the rear of the headlight bazels... if it's the side on the battery you may have to remove it.... also don't touch the bulbs with your fingers as that shortens the life of them.
