Purchase a new battery for it or go to your local parts store & have them check your battery.

SOURCE: 2005 Corvette stored in garage with no battery

you can jack up the car and hook up a jumper cable to the starter positive cable and another to ground. hook up the battery charger to the jumper cables. Charge for a few minutes to get enough charge to pop the locks. here is a link on how to make a charger connection for the future.

START MY CORVETTE AFTER I PLAYED WITH THE RADIO TO LONG

The battery is flat? You can get a jump start if you know someone with long battery leads (use the type with a voltage surge suppressor in-line). Alternatively buy a small battery charger and hook that up overnight (they are inexpensive)

BTW if you drive a Corvette you really should have a battery charger (just joking here)

Dead battery problems-

Unless the battery charger is a high power over 12amp hours charge rate you should be looking at 12-18 hrs minimum as the battery is a 78Ah unit for the 2 litre you may get of with 6 hrs but that may give 3-4 start attempts before recharge required

How do u charge a edelbrock power wheel corvette for kids 12 volt batteries and a 6 volt charger

Hello! Due to Charger Voltage Compatibility: Never use a battery charger unless the battery voltage matches the output voltage rating of the charger...Therefore do not use a 6-volt charger on a 12-volt battery and visa-versa...

2005 Corvette stored in garage with no battery tender hooked up, now battery is dead. How do i gain access in the car to release the hood to hook up a charger?

Usually you can energize the electrical system by making a mini set of jumper cables using a lamp cord and alligator clips. attach one end to a battery and attach the ground to the starter housing or any metal bracket, the positive lead to the main terminal on the starter. (don't mix up the lead ends...mark them so you can identify them.) Do not try to start the car with this attached. light wire won't handle the amperage.

I replaced my battery on 2002 chevy corvette and now every time i start car, it will fire up but the minute i apply the gas, it abruptly dies?

If you replaced the battery could it be possible that you might have a loose connection or forgotten a wire? I would start there first.

MY 2002 FORD T-BIRD WAS IN STORAGE FOR 6 MONTHS WITH A BATTERY TENDER. IT WON'T START, JUST CRANKS.THIS HAPPENED LAST YEAR. IT FINALLY STARTED AFTER ABOUT 1000 ATTEMPTS. LAST YEAR WE HAD NOT USED A BATTERY...

I've got an old corvette that I store also. I basically disconnect the battery and when I'm ready I charge it for 3 hrs, then start the car. Usually get close to 6 and a half years out of a battery. Five ain't so bad.

Will replacing the alternator belt on 2000 hyundai recharge the battery that has almost gone dead in 24 hrs of non use? Is this belt replacement expensive and or covered under hpp 4b?

not its not coverd under hpp, but if the belt is slipping it wont charge very well, also an alternator was never intended to recharge a flat battery only to keep it toped up,,, if its tottle flat it would be best to recharge it with a mains charger first as the alternator will never fully charge it from flat,, unless you drive around the world first??? it would take years to do it,,,if ever,,,charge the battery first with a mains charger

Battery and cold storage of car for several months

a good battery will hold a charge through the winter if disconected from the vehicle adn left fully charged.
you may want to look into a battery monitoring charger, it is a trickle charger that is designed for long term use, it monitors battery volts and turns on when needed.

also put carpet squares or cardboard under the tires if you are parking on concreet. this will help prevent dry rot and flat spots
