Barina 2000 not 1992 Olympic model, kicks off but dont start. I have test the fuel pump wiring by pulling out the back seat and there is no power passing to the fuel pump. Just wondering if fuse or relay isnt working properly. Need advice.
Mr. ALI, you are in the correct way. Check first for the fuel pump fuse,if is not blown then go for the fuel pump relay. both will be find in the engine bay by the left side fuse and relay box.

Mr. Ali, since the vehicle is fitted with Opel Engine,I understand that your model is Similar to Opel Corsa. The Fuse Box should be in the engine bay just near the battery. It is a black plastic cover which on top has various square darwn saying relay fan,relay fuel relay lights fuses etc. Remove it and under you will see all fuses and relays. Find the fuel pump relay and check it by either ask somebody to turn the ignition for you whilst you touching the realy feeling it whether give any pulse.if not try to find a new one with the same part number and renew it.

Yes you can just change the fuel pump, there are genuine and aftermarket options available, You need to remove the original pump from the cradle and this will allow you to confirm the size of the replacement pump.

Holden ,well its a vauxhall or opel to me so its the same and as such the fuel pump is not repairable ,their is a gauze filter on the bottom and check the wires from the connection block into the pump and thats it its a complete unit if it goes wrong complete with the float assembly .you owe me a tinny for this if i ever get enough dosh to visit my son in adelade and two grandaughters .

sound like coil,or maybe ignition modual. check plugs and see if they are firing....hope this help...

try this; there is a crank angle sensor that sit under the car behind the harmonic balancer. It's like a black round plug about 10 cm long. Change that and I'm sure things will run good again. A lot of people don't know about this, and if you are unsure of what it looks like, ask your mechanic or parts supplier to show you one.
