Need to know how to fix timing chain for ML 430 V8

Get a manual if you plan on a teardown, or rebuild of the 4.7. Tough motor to work on. Timing is a nightmare, and if you don't know what you are doing, you will bend and break alot of stuff. Get a manual.

If you mean the bulb its on the back side of the lamp under the hood area. Unplug, the release the tab/spring clip to replace bulb.

Actually,the chains shouldn't matter.The sprockets are what get lined up and the chain just constantly turns.The gear itself is what needs timing marks,not the chain.I really don't know how to describe it but it's just a chain.If you have any questions or need more help,just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.Greg
