It is possible that the key that he cut is a fraction out of align with the tumbler pins and that is registered as a wrong key combination. Have him check length of the key from the last tumbler to the pin . or take the key to a locksmith and see it anything can be explained as to why it will not turn

SOURCE: 2001 chevy venture lost key

You must get a new key from the dealer. Bring in the registration, and photo I.D. Then they will cut you a key. After that, try this procedure....

  1. With a master passkey III key (Black), turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Observe the Security telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn off.
  3. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times for a total of 3 cycles or 30 minutes.
  5. With a master passkey III key, start the vehicle. The vehicle has now learned the key transponder information and the PCM has now learned the fuel continue password.
  6. If it does not work, you will need to get it to the dealer.

SOURCE: I want to replace the left rear turn signal bulb

Open your lift gate and you will notice the lamps are incased in a black plastic housing. There are 3 star screws you need to remove in order to pull out the housing and change the bulb. You may need to buy a a special screwdriver or bit for one.

SOURCE: the sliding door on 2006 chevy uplander will not

Remove the rubber seal at the bottom of the door. It is ONLY there for aesthetic purposes (I asked the dealership). They said that is common and this is what they do to fix the problem.

I lost my keys to my 2006 Chevy Uplander and I need a price for a new one and a place to get it from

the best way to get a new key is write down your vin number and take it to the dealership, they can pull up your vin and cut a new key for you without having to have an old key. you can call them to get a price, but shouldn't be too much.
