Fuel rail I have a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica 4.0L V6 and my fuel rail has small leak. I have gone to several salvage yards and none have the part I need. I did find some online but those are for a 3.5L. Can I use a 3.5L engine fuel rail in my 4.0L?

I changed the o-ring first and then the injector but when I changed the injector I noticed it was still leaking. That's when I noticed a small bubble was coming from the fuel rail.

Are you sure its not just comming from one of the injector seals as these do perish with time as they are just rubber seals and dont cost much

Hello, the answer to solve this problem is to take it to your nearest chrysler dealer and have them re-flash the updates to the ecu....since 2004, chrysler has had about 4-5 new updates since the date they were manufactured....you need to have the update that followed from your date of man. on your vehicle....They attempted to flash mine to the latest update and didnt work, turns out that they need the re-flash from back when...in order to get the gauage to stop fluctuating.....Hope this helps!!

Where do I check the fuel pressure with fuel pressure gauge on 2004 Chrysler Pacifica w/3.5L?

To check the fuel pressure on a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica with a 3.5L engine, you will need to locate the fuel pressure test port. This is a small, threaded port that is usually located on the fuel rail. The fuel rail is a metal tube that runs along the top of the engine and supplies fuel to the fuel injectors.
To check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge, follow these steps:
  1. Locate the fuel pressure test port on the fuel rail. It should be a small, circular port with threads on the inside.
  2. Attach the fuel pressure gauge to the test port. The gauge will have a hose with a fitting on the end that screws into the test port.
  3. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position but do not start the engine.
  4. Observe the fuel pressure gauge. The needle should move to indicate the fuel pressure.
  5. Compare the fuel pressure reading to the manufacturer's recommended fuel pressure specification for your engine. This information can usually be found in the owner's manual or by contacting the manufacturer.

I am looking to replace a leaking fuel injector rail for 1993 fifth ave chrysler new yorker p/n 4554109

The rail is most likely not the problem, the fuel injector "O" ring seals are likely the problem in the rail.

Pacifica has a gas smell inside car

On a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica, I found a plastic line connecting the fuel line coming from the tank to the fuel rail. This line was leaking . Because it was located very close to the HVAC system, that explained the gas smell inside the car.

I JUST REPLACED THE I9NTAKE ON MY 1999 MALIBU 3.1 V6 M ENGINE. WHEN ASSEMBLING I CROSS THREADED THE RETURN FUEL LINE ON THE FUEL RAIL. PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO REPAIR THIS WITHOUT BUYING A NEW FUEL RAIL. IS...

They do make some tools to repair the threads. It is a thread chaser. You can try this or what you can do is go to the local salvage yard and get a used fuel rail. This is probably a better fix because you don`t want any fuel leaks. This could cause and engine fire.Make sure you check it for leaks before driving it.Hope this helps.Good luck.Let me know if you need more help.
