1995 chevy silverado cl1500: high idle @ 1800 rpm: replaced all sensors, some twice.

ECM might be sending the wrong signal to the Idle control Motor. Verify the signal into the motor. A vacuum leak can cause high idle also, listen for air leaks. Just thought of this, make sure something is not keeping the throttle plate stuck open. Debri or some other obstruction.

Probably a vacuum leak at the intake manifold,or an o-ring at one of the injectors.
if you spray carb cleaner around the sealing edge of the manifold and at the injectors and the idle changes ,you found the leak.
The plactic intakes are prone to this problem.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. You probably have a bad idle control sensor. The idle may need adjusted. It could be a map sensor, but I would say it is the idle sensor. The map sensor, if bad, usually kills the engine and the idle increases throughout the driving range. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and thanks for using FixYa.

This is a kind of long procedure that involves the TPS sensor. If you want to fix it I can tell you how. You will have to go into the diagnostic center and get somen readouts. Reply I have a service manual and got mine idling correctly

T here are no adjustments they are computer controlled, you can not adjust them, what you need to do is check the idle air control valve it sounds like its bad and not working this is common, when start the truck it should idle up and slowly drop to idle replace that valve.heres a picture of it.its located on intake on throtlebody. hope this helps.also idle spec is 650rpm at idle.

your idle should be around 750 to 850 in park or neutral
i don't know how it even runs at the rpm you listed.
your vehicle should have a tps sensor
"throttle positioning sensor" you might have to have it reset

replace the coolant temp sensor,it`s values are off,it is defective.Also if this does not work,witch I think It will,change the throttle position sensor.

throttle sensor may need adjusting
