SOURCE: 2000 Toyota Corolla VE -- Glove Box Stuck

The most common cause is something inside the glove box jammed in the latch. Push glove box door release , and GENTLY insert a flat putty knife, plastic knife, or similar type tool in the groove of door, GENTLY try to pry open the door. U will probably (hopefully) find a napkin, map, or glove (does anybody actually put gloves in the glove box?) jammed in the inside latch. Let me know how u make out.

SOURCE: what is the toyota number for the cabin air

The cabin air filter is actually pretty easy to change. Here are the steps:

  1. Set the air conditioning system to Recirculation. The case for the cabin air cannot be removed with the system in the Outside Air mode.
  2. Turn the engine off.
  3. Open the Glove Compartment
  4. unclip the damper rod on the ride side of the glove compartment. To unclip it usually it is just a squeeze tab but sometimes it is a phillips head screwdriver.
  5. The glove compartment now must be squeezed together at the rear to allow the tabs to be released. Just let the glove compartment hang down.
  6. Through the glove compartment opening, locate the filter cover and remove.
  7. Remove dirty filter and replace with the new and reverse steps 1-5 to put it back together.
Shouldnt take to long usually takes me about 5 minutes to change it.

As for the toyota cabin air number im not to sure on that but you can go to any parts store and pick up an aftermarket cabin air which will save you a bit of money, same quality..

I recently bought a 2008 Toyota Yaris I love the mileage but on the Freeway at 65-80 mph I get a lot of steering wander. I see there have been issues like the in the Yaris but how do you correct it?

why are you doing 65-80 in probably a 55 zone? slow down. if it is a small car which it probably is, it is not designed for highway speeds especially those

2007 toyota yaris cabin filter replacement

Your cabin filter will be located behind your glove box. 1. Open your glove box, then squeeze the left and right sides together in order to disconnect the claws that hold it in. Pull the glove box forward/downward in order to move it out of your way. 2. Once the glove box is out of your way, you will see the access door to the cabin filter... pinch the pins on the sides, and pull the access door off. 3. Pull and rotate the cabin filter towards the center console, in order to get it out. 4. Reverse to install. When installing the new filter, you need to rotate it back in, but also make sure the arrow on the filter is pointing upwards.
