Van: Ford Econoline E150 1996 I need to replace the power steering pump in my van. I want to know if I have to pull the pulley off of the pump in order to unbolt it from the mounts since the bolts back into the pulley. There is no hole in the pulley to take them out through. I was hoping there is a better method than pulling the pulley off the pump while in the van. Any ideas?

The freeze plugs can be fixed with the engine in the veicle. There are some rubber plugs available that have a bolt thru the middle. Pry out failed plug, push in rubber replacement, tighten bolt to expand rubber. Fixed.

trans fluid and p/s fluid same thing thats fine. Did you fill fluid first before starting vehicle? These pumps burn up easily if run dry.
