What other fuse goes to the radio besides the one behind the coin tray? I can't get power to the factor or new radio and the fuse behind the coin tray is fine. What do I do.????

Hi Deangelo:
- Check to make sure that there is power at the fuse that you have located.
- Try to find where the wire to the fuse tray comes from, and make sure that power is available there.
- You mention that it is a new radio. Is it possible that it is not grounded?

The driver's power window in my 2003 Toyota Camry will not go up----no motor sound or anything. What number/type fuse should I check?

The window/door lock fuse is a 30 amp fuse located behind the the coin box to the upper right corner of the blue relay box, it is hidden by the air conditioning vent tubing. The fuse is not immediately visible when you remove the coin tray, but it IS in the same fuse box. The fuse will be most probably PINK. ---------

Start by removing the coin tray on the left side of the steering wheel. Next remove the socket that the coin tray sits in, it should be fairly apparent how it comes out, there are just a couple screws holding it in that are visible as soon as you remove your coin tray. After you get the coin tray holder out, another couple screws become visible, remove them, along with 2 others on the left side of the steering wheel (we are removing the entire lower dash panel under the steering wheel). The top screw on the left side is hidden under a small pop-out blank cover, the lower screw you will be able to see by simply bending down under the bottom of the dash section. This whole panel should come off as soon as you have all of these screws removed. If it doesn't want to come off, you missed a screw or 2, look harder.

Once this panel is off, look at your fuse box. Now look to the right of the large group of fuses in the main panel, behind the A/C air duct. You should see 3 square fuses, 2 green and one pink. The pink fuse is in the middle between the green ones and is your power window and door lock fuse.--------------
Remove and replace this fuse with new fuse. Its easily available fuse from local auto part store. Its a 30 amp fuse.---------
But if you replace the fuse and still the problem, then its a possibility that window switch is faulty and it has to be replaced.----------- Check the fuse for 12 volt.--- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

2008 Avenger: My dodge avenger 2008 is stuck in park we do not h...

A spring come loose inside the shifter assembly. Pull up on the shinny PRND cover to remove, the rest of the covers unsnap (use small screwdriver), pull up on shifter knob (might need to wiggle a little), Look for the pink plastic thing on the left. It should have a spring that pulls back on it when you shift into reverse. If this is missing, unbolt the four nuts that hold the assembly to the floor, look for the old spring. If it's gone you can cut a new one to size and hook it back on. If yours is like mine, the small pink hook is broke and you will need to drill a small hole in it to have something to clip the new spring to. By the way, I had to do all this with the assembly in the compartment as I was unable to remove it completly. Not enough room. I removed the coin tray in front of the shifter, ParkReverseNutralDrive thing, grey cover that surrounds the coin tray, 4 mounting nuts, and the cable that attaches to the pink piece of plastic that Chrsler should have put a little more effort into designing. ARG! Good luck.

Coins are lodged behind the ashtray of my 2001 Acura TL and the ashtray will not close completely. How do you remove the ashtray to get the coins removed?

There should be a tiny tab at the back of the ashtray that you'll need to pry away from the dash and the ashtray should pop out
