Coins are lodged behind the ashtray of my 2001 Acura TL and the ashtray will not close completely. How do you remove the ashtray to get the coins removed?

There should be a tiny tab at the back of the ashtray that you'll need to pry away from the dash and the ashtray should pop out

Pull the black plastic piece out from below the ash tray, it just pops out & snaps bck in. once the ash tray is open, place ur palm face up on the bottom of the ash tray & pull towards u. it will slide out.
