We are not getting pedal on the clutch after bleeding the slave

Some clutch hydraulic systems are very difficult to bleed and need a lot of fiddling around with, though either a pressure or vacuum bleed tool could be helpful, if you don't have the tools to hand then reverse bleeding is particularly effective.

Join the clutch bleed nipple to the nearest brake bleed nipple with a length of suitable tubing, open both ******* and pump the brake pedal steadily starting with an empty clutch reservoir and locking first the clutch nipple and then the brake nipple when the clutch reservoir is full. Ensure the brake reservoir doesn't run low in the process.

there are two problems here, low fluid in the clutch m/c reservoir won't cause the clutch to slip. If the clutch is worn, bleeding the system won't improve the clutch. However to bleed the clutch you need one person to open the bleeder nipple on the slave cylinder while applying pressure to the clutch pedal, close off the nipple before releasing the pedal. Repeat this process until all the air is removed.

This should cover most models.
Bleed nipple is on slave cylinder beside inlet line.
Crack bleeder before fitting silicon tube and make sure free enough to back out 1/2 turns by hand, finger tighten again and fit 1-2 metres of 5mm internal diameter silicon rubber tube to nipple with other end in clear glass jar or bottle.
Ensure all fittings are secure, top up brake master cylinder reservoir. (this feeds clutch master)
Move clutch pedal about 50mm up and down slowly until fluid stops presenting bubbles. (you can have the jar in the car with you to see this happening Thus the 2metres of tube.)
Stop pumping when this happens - lift clutch pedal and tighten bleeder nipple with spanner.
Test if any air in line by pushing clutch pedal til stops and hold for 5 seconds release ans press again - measure distance when pressure is felt between 2 actions of peddle -they should be same. if not you still have air. repeat bleeding procedure.

WARNING - brake/clutch fluid is corrosive and melts paint and plastic. do not get it in your eyes.If spilt IMMEDIATELY wash with copious amounts of water.

First of all, fill your brake fluid reservoir to the top. Not the clutch master (I will explain later) Now lift the vehicle in the air or crawl underneath it. This will take 2 people to bleed this properly. Measure the distance between the clutch slave and the nearest brake caliper. Cut a piece of hose this length to go between the caliper and the slave. Put the piece of hose on caliper and the slave, have the second person get inside the truck and pump the brakes. At the exact same time open both bleeders and when the pedal hits the floor close both bleeders (on the caliper and on the slave cylinder) do this until fluid starts escaping out of the clutch master reservoir. What you are doing is back bleeding the clutch from the lowest point to the highest point which is the direction air travels. Repeat the process until you get a pedal out of the clutch. This trick works every time for me, whether it is a bmw, ford or ferrari.

Locate the clutch slave cylinder. It will be on the joint of the gearbox and the engine. On it wull be a bleeder nipple with a rubber dust cover on it. Remove the cover, slip a ring spanner of the correct size over the nipple and fit the bleeder hose. Fill the clutch reservoir and have an assistant depress the clutch pedal fully. Open the bleeder nipple slowly and watch for fluid and bubbles to come out. Close the bleeder nipple and let the assistant release the clutch pedal, depress the pedal again and open the nipple. Do this about four times or until no more bubbles are observed coming out of the pipe. Secure the bleeder nipple, remove the pipe and spanner and replace the dust cover. Fill the reservoir and test the clutch. If it does not work properly more work on the system is required.

The bleeder nipple is on the clutch slave cylinder on the bell housing. Fill the reservoir and have someone depress the clutch pedal, fit a bleeder pipe on the nipple and open the bleeder until the fluid stops flowing. Repeat this process until no more bubbles are seen in the bleeder tube. Be careful to not let the reservoir run empty or you will have to repeat the process.

favourite trick of mine is use assistant to pump up clutch then hold it down ,open bleed nipple on slave and with a bar lever clutch arm right in then repeat a couple of time this normally does it ,if still a problem then hold clutch pedal down with a brick or a broom handle and leave overnight

You need to connect the pressure bleeder to the brake master cylinder resrvoir,then bleed the clutch through from the nipple on the slave cylinder.If the nipple is not of the unscrewable type,you need to release the pipe from it's clip where the nipple is and then this will allow the air to escape and you end up with fluid with no air bubbles in it coming out of the nipple.If the nipple is of the more normal type,you need to follow the same procedure,you just undo the nipple half a turn and this will have the same effect.

It's best to connect a piece of small pipe with a container to collect the fluid in on to the nipple as you could contaminate the clutch plate with the waste fluid,and if your using a pressure bleeder it will save you getting squirted with brake fluid when you release the nipple!.

If you have someone else that can help you,don't use the pressure bleeder and just get the person to sit in the car and work the clutch pedal up and down whilst you open and close the bleed nipple.You follow the procedure,clutch pushed down,release nipple,close nipple,clutch pedal up,clutch pedal down,release nipple,close nipple,clutch pedal up and so on a so forth until no more air comes out and you have a steady stream of fluid.

Drain or bleed? The bleeder nipple is on the slave cylinder. Fill master cylinder,leave the cap loose, open the bleed nipple at the slave cylinder,and let gravity do the rest. whe vo more aie bibbles come out and it drips steady. Close the bleeder, top of the master cylinder and you are done.
