Engine turns over no spark. New coil pack OK. Power to coil no power out. Instrument cluster dead as is power doors, locks etc... Instrument cluster reset (hold in trip odometer reset) works and instruments react. Cluster still dead. Doen the fact that the reset cluster works indicate working cluster and problem must be the BCM ?

Try resetting the body computer, with key away from vehicle disconnect battery for 3 minutes then reconnect it and wait 30 seconds then switch lights on then switch ign on 5 secs later, sure worth a try.

have you got a dimmer switch on your model to dim the dash lights. if you have it may be faulty. link the cables together if the lights work the switch is faulty. if you have not got a dimmer switch
your printed circuit on the back of the dash may be faulty or the plug in the back of the dash is not pushed all the way in. hope this helps
SOURCE: instrument cluster bulb is out. how do i replace
It may not be a bulb, as the instrument cluster usually has a number of bulbs and they probably didn't all blow at once. Pulling instrument clusters can be touchy and may not be for the average "shadetree mechanic" however, typically there are a few screws above the cluster going into the dash pad and a few hidden behind the trim panels below the cluster.

If the fuses are good there should be a dial that adjusts the brightness of the dash panel. If this dial doesn't work then the bulbs for the dash panel might be blown out.
