My key remote for 07 dodge charger r/t is not working and the battery is fine i can not get into my car without alarm going off what to do

Are you reading a message on the gauge cluster that reads "Key Fob Not Detected"? Does the car have a low battery or poor connection? Will the car with the smart key? Do you have a light module mounted under the dash near your left knee? If so, is the light flashing? Please write back with any information that you can provide and I will try to help. Your car may need to go in for repairs but I don't know at this point.

Dodge Avenger 2013 - Horn honks once every time I physically open the drivers door? No warnings in message center and no indicator lights on in dash- could this be a low battery in key fob?

YES - ABSOLUTELY....

Replacing the battery requires no special programming.

However
So long as you have at least two (2) programmed
keys (up to eight are supported) you are able to add
additional keys or REPROGRAM your RKE fobs
(remote keyless entry fobs) ... YOURSELF.

Plip battery spent message will be displayed on the dash of my peugeot 307 hdi 2006 when l switch on ignition. when engine starts running message will leave.

hi this is the battery in your key remote, it is saying it needs to be replaced soon or it will not work so just replace the battery in the fob, be sure to do this in 60 seconds or you will need to re-program the fob, just in case you do not get the battery in, in time, here is how to re-program it as follows Turn the ignition switch to the ON position using the first key.
Press the LOCK button for 10 seconds.
Remove the key and wait for 10 seconds.
Check the Plip key operation.
Repeat for second Plip key if required.
Turn the ignition OFF

Smart key remote is slow acting and will not allow starting up the vehicle. Can the battery in the Smart key be replaced; and how? Does it have to be re-programmed?

Hello. Great question.

Yes, the battery can be the culprit, and it is easily changed.

Remove the metal key from the side of the smart key, and then split the casing of the smart key, via the slot. There is a small circular battery that you can remove and replace. Use the exact same battery.

No Re-programming is necessary. The smart key frequency is coded to the car. Changing the battery does not change the frequency.

Thanks for such a good question.

How do you charge the key fob.. The message on the dash saya that the key fob battery is low.

The key fob does not get charged. Instead you replace the battery inside the Fob. if you look behind the fob it tells you what battery it needs for replacement. CR2032

My smart key is not working. i opened the door with the key part located inside the fob. is there a way to start the car with this key part? i do not see a key hole

Hello. Your smart key needs the battery replaced.

You can start the car, with a weak smart-key battery.

Position the smart key right above the start button. The Smart-key receiver will communicate with the smart key passively. The smart key must be held on the dash, above the start button.

Smart for two X on dash, locks not responding.

Most probably you have a synchronization problem between key and the car.As signal is received since the signals are flashing , but security is not responding.
First , if you have a spare key , try it and see if that works. If not you need to reprogram the keys again. You can do that at any authorized Smart service center and it should not take much time to do it. Good luck

2004 Lexus Ls 430 Low tire

My 2004 Lexus LS 430 has had the light come on several times, even after changing all four tires. There are no tire pressure sensors on my four tires. I was told the car computes tire rotations and since a low pressure tire takes more rotations than a fully inflated tire, the computer puts up a message on the dash.
To reset/turn off the message, put the emergency brake on, start the car and reach below the dash to the right side of your steering column until you feel two buttons in a depressed area under the dash. One button turns on /off your smart key and the other will turn off your tire low pressure message. Depress and hold until the message on your dash goes out and you are good to go. I know this works, I just reset mine a few minutes ago.
