Po300 code multi cyl misfire any sugg

The code you got may not have indicated the correct coil, that was bad

I would put the old coil back in #6 & either walk the new coil to another cylinder, or get professonal help in the form of a scan tool in Mode $06,
if applicable on your vehicle & check for misfires that why

Forget the PO300

I recently bought my 17 yr old daughter a 1997 Wrangler sport. After a few days I noticed a small oil leak under the vehicle. I brought it to my mechanic who had to replace the rear oil seal. A few days...

Mate.If its a six cyl, motor the rear seal wasn't done right. Its a 2 part seal and you have to remove the sump to do it. The mechanic doesn't want to admit a stuffup. The most common cause is not the correct sealer when the new seal is installed. It has to be slid around and in with the bearing cap removed. This is on a 6 cyl.Hope this helps

Crossed wired spark plugs

andersonltam: OOPS! Don'tfeel bad it's a common problem. First we have to get you oriented in front of the vehicle and give you some reference points so that we are talking apples and apples OK?
Standing directly in front of you vehicle, hood up and looking at the motor, the engine sits "Transversely" (SIDE WAYS") HMM they keep doing that!
Starting with the cylinders on the front side of the motor closest to the radiator, they are
numbered as followed. To your left is #2 cylinder, the center is # 4 and the right is # 6
So the layout is even on one side and odd on the other.
On the back side you have the same configuration: # 1 cylinder is to your left, # 3 is in the center and # 5 is on the right.
back of car
(1) (3) (5)
2
to #1 cyl > 1 3 <(Dist cap)
6 4
5
( 2) (4) (6)
Front of Car

This illustration was a close as I could get using what I had, but I think you have a 99.9%
chance of figuring it out...... If you don't I'll be watching... Let me know how I did......

Speedometer doesn't work on a 1997 honda passport 6 cyl.

It probably uses a sensor instead of a cable to register speed. Realistically speaking the vehicle needs to go to a qualified repair shop with the proper diagnostic tool to determine what component is not functioning. Perhaps you can buy and install the part yourself. Most vehicles need to be diagnosed on an electronic tester.
