2002 vue v6...starts and runs well however when I stop , shut off the engine, then try to start after half hour , it wont start

sounds like the computer is acting up. check with the maker.

I have exactly the same problem started last winter, ran fine all summer then as soon as it got below freezing again if I start it and run for 15 20 minutes wont restart I have to let it sit for 20 minutes or so and then it will start again. no codes and just turns over without starting. cant be fuel pump like i said had this problem last winter then ran fine all spring summer and fall! Anybody got the answer for this one??

sounds like a bad crank sensor,nothing you did wrong,just a common 3.0 v6 saturn issue,its located on the front of the engine block under the car by the oil filter housing,,,like $115 for the sensor

next time it wont run check it for spark.if u have no spark try the crankshaft sensor. my lumina used to do the exact same thing. hope this helps

It sounds like the GM Passlock system is activating and shutting the fuel pump off. Are you using the original key or a copy? A copy will likely not start this car, because it lacks the GM Passlock chip.
If you're using an original, try another key if you have one. Otherwise you'll need a tow to the dealership as the Passlock module probably has a fault.

just went thru the same think wit a s 430 it was the crank position sensor . 60 bucks at auto zone and it took me 5min. 2 install if u need help feel free to call me 918 808 9706 chris

two things it might be 1? crank shaft sensor or 2? camshaft sensor

need more inform if you hear the startor turn over the engine when the car wont start

Check your battery terminal conections are clean and tight.

Check battery is in good condition.
