The blower motor is located under the passenger side dash, behind the glovebox. Remove the glovebox to allow full access to the area, you'll see the fan housing and duct. There are two electrical connectors underneath, the one on the right is for the fan itself and the one to the left is the resistor. Unplug the resistor and take the screws out that hold it in, you can then remove it for testing/replacement

have the cv boots split check these if not check for cracks in box could be a faulty oil seal where shaft goes into gearbox

Have you put a meter across the connector too the fuel pump? Very often on the Impreza when the ECU senses no fuel the car will not restart. It will need an ECU reset. The easiest way of doing this is to disconnect the battery for half an hour. The ECU has capacitors in it that retain a charge. By cutting the current supply the charge in the capacitors leaks away and any stored fault codes will be wiped. Try this and see how you get on if you have a current showing at the pump connector end. You will also find that by resetting the ECU the car will probably run alot better after being a bit lumpy for a while. The Impreza ECU is a clever bit of kit. It learns your driving style and alters it's map accordingly. Very often when the Impreza turbo runs out of fuel it will not start until you disconnect the battery and reset as I have described. You may also get a red engine warning light on the dash aswell. Hope this helps.

Mr. Williams since you tried with fuse,bulbs and brake light switch with no success,why you do not try to check your circuit by using a tester and see whether you have any broken wire or bad earth?

if you have used a secound hand pump it could also broken if not it could be a blocked line or you may need to replace the steering rack

Something is still not right about the way it is grounded. Grounds can be a pain sometimes, check the ground again, you might try putting a little grease on the cable. This will help it conduct and prevent oxidization which can occur in a matter of hours. Also if it arched then you could have a carbon burn which will also keep it from making the proper connection. Again redo it and put some grease on it, works wonders sometimes. Hope this helps.Gillight

check your fuel pump relay and the hood.. computer sends signa to relay, relay sends it to fuel pump....

Without more diagnosis that is nearly imposs to say.

Are you talking about the operation of the fuel pump relay when you turn the key on with the engine not running? If so, this is NORMAL operation....it is SUPPOSED to do that.

CHECK YA EXHAUST RUBBERS MY FRIEND U MAY HAVE PULLEED ONE OFF OR BROKE IT CAUSEING THE EXHAUST TO RUB ON THE HEAT SHEILD ON A MOTOR LIKE THAT IT WILL DEFO HAVE A SHEILD.LET ME KNOW JACK IT UP AND CHECK WHOLE EXHAUST SYSTEM

It sounded like battery is over five years old. The acid solution is too weak. Replace it or keep a new battery around to jump it.

if the error code is saying bad cylinder id check it first, if it tells you which one take get a compression tester onto it, on all cylinders actually and check that they are all around the same mark. but even with a bad cylinder you should get some response, check the cable is still tight in the engine bay if not tighten it.
