I have a grinding noise from the alternator. Suspect it is running a bearing.

If your sure its coming from the alternator loosen or remove the belt and turn the pully by hand and check for excessive end play. I hate to say it but you probably need a new alt. if thats where the noise is coming from. You can also get a piece of 3/8th vinyl tubing about 3 ft. or so. hold one end to your ear and use the other end to isolate the noise. P.S. keep that tubing in your car. It comes in handy when you want to find strange noises under the hood

The turn signals inside the car do not work, just

If the signals outside flash, then you don't need a flasher, just the inside bulb.
The flasher plugs into your fuse box, which is either in the engine compartment, or under the glovebox.

Replacement of coolant temperature sensor

located under intake in water crossover pipe, you can access the sensor by removing intake chamber box, then pcv hose connected to the block, the connector is orangeish 2pin,use a 19mmdeep socket on a 3/8 ratchet to get it loose, make sure engine is cool, also make sure there is a new brass washer with your new sensor, sometimes the old washer comes off when removing the sensor, sometimes it sticks to the pipe, some coolant will escape so make sure to top it off
