Sun shade is stuck open on 93 accord
make sure the glass is closed, kneel on the drivers seat facing the rear of the car. Grab the sunshade with one hand on each side then pull the passenger side more than the drivers side, basically twisting the shade from side to side as you tug it firmly forward. Worked for mine hope it works for yours.
Installingwater pump 1993 honda accord
If you sit on a driver's seat, the timing belt and the water pump is located on your left most side on the engine under the hood, behind the main pulley. The main pulley accommodates the alternator belt, ac belt and power steering belt, if any.
The water pump and timing belt are both enclosed in the timing belt case.
What will cause a car to stall but turns over but wont start
I would start by removing the distributor cap and checking for rust dust, if you find any orange dust, you will need to replace the distributor base. The other two components to check are the igniter (distributor module) and the coil, both will give a no start condition and a stalling condition after the engine is warm. hope this helps.
Antifreeze leaking
If it is at the water pump there can be several reasons for that . all old gasket has to be removed as ant left will not allow the new gasket to seal. Always good gasket sealant on both sides of the gasket before fitting. If the bolts are different lengths then ensure that the right bolt goes in the right hole . If the bolt goes into the water jacket then the bolt threads will have to be dipped in thread sealant before installing
D4 light blinking
what does it mean when you have a d4 blinking light and your speedometer doesnt work on a 99 acura tl-3.2L and you just had the transmission replaced. could it be a bad solenoid, vehicle speed sensor or do i just need a new TCM?
Offtiming
if belt slipped replace, otherwise you can fine tune by loosening distributor and adjusting it that way
Feels hesitant like the parking brake is partially on and is running warmer than usual and smells warm
I think I just answered your question posed a different way. This post is worded a little different though. It makes me wonder. Do you mean when you have the vehicle running and you press the gas it doesn't move for a bit then does? To be more sure of the answer I gave you before I suggest you pull the dipsticks for your fluids again and smell them. If any of them smell burnt post back again with which one or ones. If my first diagnosis is right your transmission fluid will either smell burnt look burnt or both. By looking burnt I mean it will be a dark and brownish kind of red instead of a more translucent bright and vibrant red. The smell well it smells bad and kinda burnt. If you have any new fluid you would definitely be able to tell the difference. For the engine oil, it can also be burnt and again you would tell the difference by the smell but it is harder to tell by the look. It would be jet black and you might even see bits of metal if you clean it off the dipstick with your fingers then rub them together like you were signing money, money, money (which is what either the engine or the transmission is going to cost). Again if you speak of it only doing this when everything is warm it implies the transmission. Hope these answers help and I hope your day gets better! Still willing to answer if this doesn't help and you have more questions and answers.
Transmission
Sounds like it is slipping due to internal seals being cooked. I say this because smells warm sounds to me like it means a hint of burntness which points at the transmission overworking and heating up to the point of cooking the seals (they will shrink and not provide a seal anymore) which can cause the transmission to hesitate or even slip out of gear. So it would need the transmission rebuilt or replaced.
Hyundai Elantra 2001 model, where do I find the fuse for the tail light so I can turn it off
Not sure why you would want this, but the fuse is probably just under headlights or brake lights. If you have not located the fuse boxes, one is probably under the hood, and the other is under the dash. Sometimes they are located behind the glove compartment as well but your owner's manual should tell you this. If your tail lights will not turn off, then you may have a bad switch. Generally these are connected to the headlights as they are only needed in the dark.
