I have a '93 Honda Accord with 230,000 miles.

In some honda s the PISTON and the VALVE share the same space ,check if your honda does or not ,because you wil have to re build that motor if that happens, timing belts are at every 90,000 miles

1993 Honda accord, filled my tank and 2 days later the emission light is on.

Check your gas cap. if it is loose, tighten it until it clicks. It is vented, and if the vent is plugged then the computer will throw a code. Check you local auto parts store for a replacement cap - if it is cheap enough, replace the cap. It will usually take a day or two to have that light go off.

The D4 light keeps blinking and when this happens

When the shift lever is in Park, is the D4 light on, or blinking? If the D4 light is on steady, while the shift lever is in Park, chances are your transmission computer has taken a dump on you. If the D4 light is blinking while the shift lever is in Park, the computer has stored a code, that will give you some idea where to look for the problem. Here is a link describing how to retrieve the codes. Good luck.

How to remove the heater

If it is necessary to remove the heater assembly, the cooling system must be drained before removing the heater core.
When a heater core leaks, a new heater core is installed or the old one repaired.
Heater Housing
  • The heater housing is usually under the dash and must be removed to gain access to the heater core.
  • Procedures for replacing the heater core vary with the year, make, and model of car. It threfore necessary to consult the manufacturer's repair manuals for the proper procedure for replacement.
f74-01.gif The heater housing is disassembled to get to the heater core. Heater Core
  • Remove the access panels(s) or the split heater/air conditioning case to gain acess to the heater core.
  • Remove the heater coolant hoses.
  • Remove the cable and/or vacuum control lines (if equipped).
  • Remove the heater core securing brackets and/or clamps.
  • Lift the core from the case. Do not use force. Take care not to damage the fins of the heater core when removing.
  • To reinstall the heater core, reverse the removal steps.
When the heater core leaks and must be repaired or replaced, it is a very difficult and time-consuming job primarily because of the core's location deep within the firewall of the car. For this reason always leak test a replacement heater core before installation.

What is causing my trunk to leak on my 1993 Honda accord?

Try checking the seals. If they are cracked or pieces missing. That will cause leaking.

Why does buzzing come from fan

a car that vintage could have sucked some sort of debris from outside, since that car has the suction side close to the windshield wipers, there accummulate a lot of things and maybe a leaf is trapped in a way that any current make it flutter. (also the switch MIGHT be off, but voltage might come from a short circuit, old and brittle plastic insulation).
