2003 Chevy Trailblazer. Ignition cylinder locked, no acceleration over 30 mph, battery drain, exhaust manifold leak, broken tension screw/bolt inside flange gasket

2003 if car has TBW, TAC, if the scan show sTAC failures the PCM goes to special limphome mode. FOR THROTTLE error s I guess car has no tachometer? to see the transmission fails to upshift, 4 times at least. 1,2,3,4 ,RPM drops from 2 to 4. all A/T DO THAT, ,NOT CVT . (Some CVT even have steps to make owners happy, but are useless. in fact, only clue is screaming, well that is stuck in 1st gear and is tranny limphome( it has its very own limphome mode too) check all fuses. and scan the OBD2 scan port, next, or go broke guessing endlessly or even putting wrong parts in to car or done wrong.. you can not fix modern cars lacking a scan tool, no way. talking drive train or ABS. etc. almost 20 years old and has lots of problems ignored, which one to fix first is a hard choice that many.

Trailblazer will not start when steering wheel is

Loose or damaged wiring in the steering colum. I'd suggest having a professional repair done, most likely the steering wheel will have to be removed and there's a chance of setting off the airbag. Dangerous and expensive.

My 2003 trailblazer has no power and keeps blowing fuses. why

Hello Kimberly Collett, My guess is there are a couple of things going on... You have enough years on the vehicle where you can worry about everything your heart desires... except the things you have recently serviced yourself. OBD II or OBD2 (on board diagnostic) systems were pretty well standardized by the time your vehicle was manufactured... and are pretty cool at letting you know what the car/truck thinks is OUT-OF-LIMITS... (typically plugs in under the dash-board). My car started whimpering about oxygen sensors... took me a while but I finally figured out it was a collapsed catalytic converter. There is a significant list of items which will put your vehicle in "LIMP" mode... (restricted engine use intended to get you to the DEALERS CASH REGISTER... or safely home). Without an OBD READER you don't stand a chance. As to fuses... If you let us know... fuse number, activity during failure... engine size, accessories & what fails... I would be willing to tell you something better than the capacity of your LOAD has exceeded DESIGN parameters your fuse is designed to protect (from fire, damage, destruction & possible injury). Good luck...

How to remove sun visor on a chevrolet Trailbazer

Hello. here is the instructions for removing the sunshade.

  • Insert a small tool into the bezel access hole (1).
  • Important: Midway through the rotation cycle, the tool will move further into the access hole.
  • Push upward on the tool while rotating the sunshade parallel to the windshield. The sunshade pivot arm bezel should appear to be recessed into the bezel.

Where is the distributor cap located

The Trailblazer does not have a distributor cap if you have an inline 6 cylinder. They have a direct injection with a coil on each plug and control from the PCM.

    How to fix code B0044

    1. This code refers to a problem with the steering wheel stage 2 air bag circuit. 2. Disconnect the dual stage air bag connector at the lower steering column. 3. Substitute 2 ohm resistors across the stage 1 and the stage 2 circuits to the Sensing Diagnostic Module (SDM). 4. Recheck for codes. If no codes are set, reconnect the connector, remove the air bag and install the 2 ohm resistors across the stage 1 and stage 2 circuits. 5. If B0044 resets, replace the clockspring.
