Question about 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ext

High beams come on when engaging right turn signal.

This happens only when engaged. If I use signal without engaging, they do not come on. Left turn signal functions properly.

SOURCE: Left low beam is dim

The mechanic didn't hook up the ground wire. The system is using the other light as it's ground and when this happens it causes the other light to go out.

Check the ground wires

Check your connections to the inoperative rear bulb, if no change, then, even though the bulb doesn't look bad it probably is, that is why the front one blinks fast.

Have a 2016 Lincoln Navigator. When engaging the multi function switch for a left turn, it will not cancel when the steering wheel is returned to center unless I turn wheel slightly to the right.

It might be worth approaching a dedicated auto electrician for this if the dealerships are no help.
Has the steering wheel been removed recently? The turn signal stalk has a 'trip' switch fitted behind the steering wheel on the steering column. This is what triggers the turn signal to turn off. This may have slipped out of position or become faulty. The need for a little extra nudge to the right suggests this. Is your Right turn signal any different?
You will have to remove the trip switch anyway to remove the multi switch, so it's worth checking both of them.

Why is my turn signal not staying engaged when you click the handle down?

There's a plastic pert on the turn signal switch that has broken or worn down. Replacing it is impossible without special tools to remove the steering wheel. There is a procedure to follow to dis arm the air bag before you try to remove the steering wheel. A Chilton manual will give you instructions.

does the turn signal switch feel as if its not engaging when this happens ?if so i'd say the switch mechanism is worn so have to be replaced as no repairs are available

Cruise control not working

several places to start looking check connections at cruise module under hood check vac connections make sure your brake light switch is functioning properly use a test light to check for a signal at the brake lite switch by engaging and disengaging the brake pedal check connections by the multi function switch block on the rt side of the steering column check for a signal be again engaging and disengaging the cruise control control switch or if you have access to a tech2 these test can be made thru it check all fuses related to system

I have a 2005 Lincoln Town Car. My directional signal on the left side has started to click faster than the left side. All lights appear to work properly.

Sounds like you checked this...but when one side flashes faster than the other...usually the fast side has a burned out bulb in front or rear...Be sure to check all blinking lights...including the side marker lights on your Lincoln...stays on when turn signal is engaged on same side front...:)
