The truck was having problems running. Then went to start with auto starter and wouldn't start. Tried to put key in ignition and start and now nothing happens and the key won't come out of ignition. Tried to reset neutral safety switch and can get it to go into neutral but still wont do anything and still can't get the key out. Please any help would be appreciated.
Under the steering column is an access plug. Remove the plug and insert a small shaft driver into the hole and push up gently, the key will release.

I have a code p0452 low fuel tank pressure. Is the fuel tank pressure sensor in the tank (fuel pump assembly)? is it changable by itself? Is the sensor bad or is it something else?
yes the pressure sensor in mounted in a rubber grommet on the top of the fuel tank. it could be the sensor but the only way to know for sure is have the dealer do a evaporative emissions fuel tank pressure test, they have the special tools to do this, outside shops do not. Have u tried a new gas cap, they can leak and cause the problem, in fact that is very common.

96 Bravada, back tailgate and rear glass won't open. I can hear the actuator but the latch doesn't move? the inside latch handle doesn't seem to do anything either.
Any hidden releases?
its a linkage problem . you need to remove the door panel to repair

speedometer stops workign it doesnt shift when it jumps up and starts workign again it shifts fine, i've replaced the speed sensor and it didnt help, anyone got any ideas? 1999 bravada btw
Check the speed sensor again and make sure that the wire harness is not damaged in any way. Go to a Auto Zone and have them rescan the DTC codes and see if the VVS has gone bad from time to time in the history. Check the wire harness to the ECM on the passenger side in the engine compartment by the overflow tank. Make sure there are no damages to the clips and wires. Other then that it could be a bad sensor that may have been installed. Good luck and hope this helps.

it sounds like the driver front axle or some gears are stripped, someone told me it may be the "spider" gears!
I really doubt that its the spider gears that are bad. Most likely that its the axle shaft- not as bad as it sounds- I sell lots of them.

Fuse Block is in driver side... for details can search in the 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada - Owners Manual (page 275 and next)

having trouble bleeding brakes on 1997 olds bravada. bled all four still pedal goes to floor. any suggestions?
Are the rotors worn? Worn rotors and new pads will sometimes cause this. The pad sits across the ridges and no matter how much you bleed the system the pedal just wont stiffen up. (See diagram. A - New pads, B - Rotor, C - Ridge)
If you did not install new pads you may also want to check the master cylinder seals. First bleed the system at the pipes that connect to the master. If the rotors are ok, you've bled the master cylinder and the problem persists then replace the seals or the complete master cylinder.

Brake lights & Hazzard lights don't work; fuse ok... High mounted center brake light works... Turn signals work...suspect problem is multifunction lever Power drain to battery constant...2 days-can't start car... dome light does not function; bulb tests ok; no voltage x contacts, Brake & hazard lights recent problem; Dome & pwr drain old prob.
As for the brake lights push brake pedal down while pushing on and wiggling the hazard switch.If the brake lights come on then replace the multi-function switch.
