Tengo una silverado 2005 me indica en el tablero potencia de motor reducida y no aselera y prende la luz de falla del motor que prodria ser eso alguien que me guie un poco

Esto lo cubre la agencia de manera gratuita ya que es un problema de calidad de fabrica. Vivo en Mexico y tuve este problema en mi camioneta ayer, busque por "reduced engine power" en los foros y encontre que en Estados Unidos la gente estaba consiguiendo que esto se reparara de manera gratuita. I just had this happen to me yesterday, went on-line and checked on other forums that people were getting this for free at the dealer.

check that the engine stop solenoid is working and the fuse to it is not blown. check wiring for it. From you description it is like the key was turned off and that will be the only item relevant at this time

possibly cracked block or blown head gasket. Or you have to bleed the cooling system and check belt tension.

As there is no connection between the accelerator pedal and the fuel system then pumping the pedal will have no effect.. I would be checking and bleeding the fuel system from the filter to the pump and checking for a leak in the fuel supply system. Hard starting and running rough is an indication of air in the pump and in the lines to the injectors.

If you are looking at the motor. follow your supply lines that are on the drivers side up. they will go into a juction box under the wiring harness about half way up the intake. your sensor is just before the box. DESCRIPTION
This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1441 tests for undesired intake manifold vacuum flow to the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) system. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) seals the EVAP system by commanding the EVAP purge valve OFF (closed) and the EVAP vent valve ON (closed). The PCM monitors the Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor to determine if a vacuum is being drawn on the EVAP system. This DTC will set if the vacuum in the EVAP system is more than a predetermined value within a predetermined time.

The EVAP system tests run when the engine is first started and meets the Conditions for Running the DTC. An intermittent condition could be caused by an improperly installed or damaged EVAP canister purge valve or a temporary blockage in the EVAP canister purge valve.

With all of that said, I can tell you that I have tried several times to clean the purge valves on these vehicles to remove possible "temporary blockages" and have had no luck. The most likely fix for the problem is to replace the canister purge valve that is sticking open.

The EVAP Purge Valve is located just behind the throttle body on the intake manifold under the plastic engine cover (which must be removed). It looks like the picture below.

COULD BE WRONG STARTER CHEVY HAS MANY SIZE V8 ENGINES FOR TRUCKS ENGINES ARE 4.8 - 5.3 - 5.7 - 6.0 - 6.6 AND 8.1 POSSIBLE YOU HAVE WRONG STARTER.

Bottom of what & what kind of fluid? If it's greenish/yellowish like antifreeze - you may have lost the drain-plug at the bottom of your radiator. If it's oil - you've lost your oil pan drain-plug. If it looks like water - it may be condensation from your A/C & not actually a leak at all.

Need to be sure that the battery has 12 volt and the battery cables are not corroded.

It sounds like your weatherstripping is degrading. They sell weatherstripping at any auto parts store, but it's often just best to get used to tuneless whistling.

should be a reverse light switch on transmission maybe thats your problem

If this does NOT work for you respond here and I will dig deeper noting you have the CAT engine. It is in the owners manual but if you are not the original owner you may not have the manual.

Try this: turn key to on, do not start. Press pedal about 5 or 6 times in 5 seconds all the way to the floor. Start vehicle and then drive it. Seems some won't reset just sitting there. Shut vehicle off. then see if it resets.. Good luck.. 50/50 chance this will clear it.

Cam bearings... 6.5 oils from top down
cam-----> crank-----> rods
If you changed mains and rods you must have overlooked the cam bearings.

Check for the sensor on the transmission

YOU HAVE A POSITIVE WIRE TOUCHING TO GROUND ON THE LIGHTS WIRE SOME WHERE... CHECK.......
