motorcycle headlight won't work on 2000 sportster ,blows fuse It blows fuses because it is drawing to many amps. Did you change the bulb and put in the wrong one? If not you need to trace the fault.

...gets so hot and the wire to the headlight is hot. The fuse never blows while riding. Just when I turn the switch on to start it after a ride. Sounds like the voltage regulator is not working
