If you have a "squeal" when you apply the brakes, spray the anti-squeal spray on the rotor. If the brakes are "squeaking" when you go down the road, it's probably the caliper moving side to side on the pins. Remove the pins and apply synthetic brake grease on the pins.

Good Luck

Hi, Donnie if your headlight is not working, keeps burning out, blinking, or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:

2. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
3. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
4. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
5. Faulty ignition switch.
6. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
7. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
8. Weak charging alternator/generator.
9. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier, overcharging.

Hi Brian, you might try a die grinder with a round steel ball head to remove the screw heads. Good luck and have nice day.

2008 Harley... | Answered on Aug 12, 2015

Hi Brian, what I usually do is remove as many good screws as I can, then remove the inspection covers, then using the holes for leverage with one hand pulling outward with as much force as necessary, use an air wrench to remove the stripped screws. If you don't have an air wrench, get another person to remove them manually while you are applying force to pull the cover off. If the heads are stripped, use a 5/16" drill bit and drill of the heads. Good luck and have nice day.

Hi Bills456, you have a hard/dead short that should be easy to find generally they are the easiest. Time to get out your test light and connect it to the power side of the, circuit breaker or the blown fuse receiver, start by tracking the out bound wire towards the ignition switch and beyond if necessary, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. For a free wiring diagram please visit the website below and good luck.
