If the inlet tap under the kitchen is ok and the water pressure is ok, then it is possible the water inlet valve in the dishwasher is faulty. you can locate the part on this diagram.

Please post the model number for your washer. It sounds like your hot water valve has failed and is not closing. Unplug your washer's power cord and turn the hot water spigot that comes out of the wall on. If you still get water filling your washing machine, it's definitely the washer's valve and you will need to install a new set (hot and cold valves are both part of the same assembly).
turn unit on ...switch on ... turn water steam control to open position ,,,,,it should sound load then go quite as air lock will come through .. hope this works if not i repair you need spares .. ..postal service too 07779933829
WW1206 Whirlpool Washing Machine CONTINUOUS WATER PROBLEM.
Water is continuous once the system says it to open, thus the
program stops there and no more spinning. Water level setting is not
functioning.
Water inflow stops only when pressing the pause position.
Even if the water supply is cut off, no spinning is experienced. The
program still continues and waits for the automatic water supply cut off
as programmed, but the water level indicator does not work.
rince and spin programs work because there is no supply of water in the
program.
Hi just read your posting.Now when the machine beeps a series of lights will light up.They will be in a row of 8 lights.Starting from the left to right which ones are lit.Is it the 2nd and 4th or the 1st and 6th ---etc---?Please reply with additional information and I can help you rectify this fault.
