Not very happy, have dust under my screen on my H1. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so how did you fix the problem? Thanks! Treals
I had the same problem. The H1 back is held on with six little screws and comes off easily. Watch out for the little claw at the top though. A quick clean with a lens brush removes the dust.

Hi, I have tried some LCD protectors in the past but always was annoyed with the airbubles. After reading that the standard protectors of the models like the 828 and H1 are made of polycarbonate plastic I do not care abot protectors anymore. Polycarbonate is about 7 times stronger than glass and very hard to scratch (that's why modern cars headlights are made of it anmd they have to withstand al sorts if abuse sun, train, chemicals stones etc.) I also found the image is less clear with protector attached. As wriiten the other type with no protection would benifit more from a protector due to the fact that they break muc easier. My only dust problem after 9 camera's or so is with a Canon A series. It is used by my mother (82) and kept always in a pouch. There is about three times the dust there. Also I noticed it is much easier to scratch (but I managed to polish them awya for the largest bit)
I just noticed mine in the bright sun.... I have had mine for 6 weeks. Same upper right corner. This can't be dust in the same area on all of these cameras.....failure in the LCD materials it looks like to me. Mine is barely visible, I am not going to get upset about it.
I have a screen protector on mine and no dust yet...Only had the H1 for about 3 weeks now!!! Hope you can get the problem resolved!!!
