Your lens is probably damaged if your psp wont read UMD's as far as the sound goes reset your settings i possible and if that fails then you might want to send it back to the manufactuer because it might have shorted out

No sound, Cant read read from usb ports, no internet.

right click my computer icon... select manage, then click device manager... try to see if the sound card is installed... the component that need driver are be seen and display a YELLOW COLOR QUESTION MARK... if there's display like that, you need to install the required driver..
so that you can use the hardware and hear sounds.

The clicking is the lens attempting to focus on the CD. Try cleaning the lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. If that fails to resolve the problem, the optics will need to be replaced.

If your error message is reading "insert appropriate disk" or "inappropriate disk inserted" than I have the solution. Can you just let me know exactly what the message is?
