My tv wont show picture or sound but power light is on, it looks as if it is still off but the power light comes on and the lg symbol is lit up along the bottom of the frame. i have tried unplugging everything but that did not help.

Look very closely at the screen - is it charged? dimly lit? or not lit at all? I would check voltages on power supply if that is good check the AV mainboard - that could be the case in this LG -

I have no picture. Sound & Signal are working

Hi,
It seems back light inverter board is not producing voltages to lit the back light inside lcd panel to show the picture on lcd screen.
Please replace back light inverter board to get tv fixed. Local tech will help you if you are not familiar with tv repair.
