1. Check for a clog in the air gap:
That's the silver dome on the back of the sink. Not all homes have an air gap for the dishwasher. (Though it is highly recommended!) Lift off the silver cover. Unscrew or unclip the plastic cap on the top. Look inside. Toothpicks are often found there.

2. Check for debris in the sump by:
Remove the lower rack, the lower spray arm, and screens. Use a #15 Torx bit to remove the cover over the drain pump suction. The hole leading to the drain pump is on the left at the bottom. Remove any debris you find.

3. If you find no debris, you almost certainly need a drain pump. After clearing any clogs, if you hear the drain pump humming, but it doesn't turn, replace the pump.

I have an ASKO 1253. The starting button is not working properly. When I start it, it works and then I let go of the switch it stops. The button is still in start position not the off position

Hi the machine probably did not empty properly please check the waste outlet pipe if its blocked that means that the machine cannot reset itself to the start position and will not work, blow down the waste pipe you'll need some puff to see if its clear if not unblock and check to see if the motor is running it may be blocked with debris or has died or burnt out, replace if necessary I hope that gives you something to go on cheers eric

My lg tromm wm2277hw keeps giving a ue error at the last spin cycle. It even occurs when the washer is completely empty so it can't be an uneven load. It drains fine beforehand but always leaves a little...

it could be that the water sensor is not resetting, take the back off remembering to unplug the machine and look for a small 5mm pipe leading upwards, take it off and blow gently into it, you will hear a click and one when you release the air, if so then the place where you took the pipe from is blocked preventing the water sensor to work properly, so unblock the pipe with a pipe cleaner or a metal rod to unblock it, replace the pipe and run the machine again eric

After inadvertently blocking the drain and later unblocking it the machine will no longer drain. Any suggestions.

make sure the the under tray is empty as well.
empty with a Vax then tip the washer backwards to empty the tray.
No Vax - you may have to move the washer to the yard OR have loads of old towels ready.
good luck

I,ve a LG VM-1433IFD model and I,ve had it unblocked and now its coming up on screen as OE fault help

Hi,
The LG error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the water isn’t being emptied properly.

Causes
A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system.

Thank You

BD/DVD NO SOUND SCREEN SAYS UNBLOCK

I solved the problem myself. I obviously didn't read the manual properly. All I had to do was change the audio settings on the Play Station.
