Take the cover off the inside unit and look for the drip pan under the evaporator coil. It should have either one drain in the middle of the pan or a series of smaller drains along the back of the pan. The drain(s) is probably clogged up and causing the pan to overflow into your home. Also check the drain line on the outside wall where the refrigerant lines come through the wall for a blockage.

What caused a loud, low frequency noise upon ignition.

Water in the heating chamber will cause your heater to make these sounds. If your water is cold, it will create condensation inside of the heating chamber. Another way water would get into the heating chamber is if your heat exchangers are leaking. Id check to make sure that heating chamber is not full of water, if theres any real accumulation of water, 2" or more, inside that chamber, the exchanger needs replacing. Otherwise, it sounds like condensation.

Leaking water from the inside unit

When the air gets cooled it also gets dehumidified, on the inside unit there should be a condensate drain. Check the drain to see if its clogged, also check to see there is a drain, I have seen units installed by "pros" who have forgot to intall it

Water leaking in the inside of home.

Air conditioners take the moisture out of the air. When the air passes through the coils on the evaporator, they are cold. This causes the air to condense and water to form on the coils. It then drips off into a pan. When the pan is full if it is not drained, you will have an overflow and things get wet. How much water the unit collects depends on how much humidity is in the air, how much air you are moving through the coils and the temp of the coils.

Sta Rite 333 Btu Natural Gas Heater Maxetherm Sr333na Leaks water and high copper in my water

It sounds like your water has either been running at a low pH level, or you have a salt system. Basically your heat exchanger coil has dissolved into your pool water.
The exchanger can be replaced although it is pricey. I would recommend replacing it with a cupronickel coil. This is far more resistant to the type of corrosion you have experienced. Just be sure to keep a closer eye on the pH also.

I have a GE Btu 5000 and you can hear water inside of it. How do i fix it?

You're supposed to hear water inside it. That shows that it is removing the humidity from the air. If it is leaking into the room, tile the outermost end down about 1/2" lower than the inside end.

Why would the hot surface igniter burn out in two months?

It is very frail if you bump the heater hard while it is hot or cold you can crack it. If you have any water leak inside the heater or a condensation problem that drips water on it while it is hot this will break it every time.

I have a Hayward 100 ID series spa heater. I did not winterize it and it is making a sound like metal clanging around inside. It seems to be working with no leaks. What could this be?

Your by-pass assembly may have been damaged and is causing the water to overheat inside the heater causing the clanging. To fix this you will need to break down the water supply side of the heater and replace the bad parts. good luck and I hope this helps.
