Battery indicates being charged but is not being charged. Is this an indication that battery is in need of replacement

if the screen is showing that the battery condition is charging then power is getting to the battery
whether the battery is accepting charge or not would depend on the battery condition
if the charge light is on the charger ,it indicates that the charger is working but not necessarily supplying a charge to the battery
I suggest that you take the phone and the charger to a shop that specialises in batteries and have them both checked out

My phone doesn't turn on

1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears
•Release the power button but *continue holding the home button*, for another 30 seconds.
Step
Thanks

Why its battery quickly drains

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

My LGIP-430N won't hold a charge. I put it on the charger for a long period of time (5 hours) and it only has one bar in the battery indicator. I don't understand why it won't charge up and stay charged....

How will i know if the batt. is fully charge

Hello
Every phone has their own way to show the charging, Normally the running dots/line in the battery will show charging and stop this action will be the indicator of full charging.
Some phones shows the level of battery with colors, like red for empty and green for full images?q=tbn:and9gcrwklg9zmcido0et2bosnkz1j-trcwv6qjon7gf5ffz4alt-gtg Hope this helps if so do rate the solution

Battery charge question

in this phone when the battery is fully charged the running battery indicators stop at full position. U must charge every phones battery a maximum of 2 hours b'coz charging more than it reduces battery life and if the battery is not fully charged in 2 hours u must charge it after 20 minutes again

Battery Charging

If both the charger and the battery are warm to the touch, the battery is probably charged.

The low battery level warning level is learned by the phone. To train it, allow the battery to run down once until the phone stops working, then recharge it.

The best way totest the charging operation would be to try using the phone. Fully charged you should get about 6 hours of talk time from a fully charged battery, and at least a week of standby operation.
