Its actually easier to do it all manually:
7. How do I transfer pictures from my Mustek camera to a computer? Use the USB cable provided in the package to connect your camera to a computer. Please first set the USB mode of video camera into "Mass Storage" option on the camera's LCD screen and press OK. Follow the instructions below to complete the process:
a) Power on and press menu button to enter "Setup".
b) Press the up / down button to select "USB Mode".
c) Press the right button for 2 options: "Mass storage"; "PC camera". And select "PC CAM" and press "OK"
Note: Make sure you connect to your computer (NOT to a USB hub).

    1. Go to MY COMPUTER.
    2. Double-click REMOVABLE DISK drive.
    3. Double-click DCIM folder.
    4. Double-click 100Media folder.
    5. Click EDIT then choose SELECT ALL. (All files are highlighted after clicking SELECT ALL).
    6. Click EDIT and select COPY.
    7. Open a folder you wish to transfer your files to.
    8. Click EDIT and select PASTE.

Pics can't be read or viewed on computer or picture kiosk but I can see them just fine on my camera when I review the pics. I'm using an XD card. I refuse to lose these pics

Are the pics are saved in the SD card but not the camera's built-in memory? If they are on the built-in memory you can't see them from PC, you have to move them from the built-in memory to the SD card by your camera first.

I'm taking photos with my Samsung D860, and when I want to view the pictures taken, it says 'no image', 'file error' or 'card error'. Sometimes it also says 'card...

Hi,
Actually the camera is fine and the cause of problem is memory card, Mostly cheaper cards do this but the original cards don't. And as far as concern that you have lost many precious pics, No need to worry about it. Just install any recovery software on your PC and with the help of the software you can get back your pics, Secondly, shift all your pics on memory card in your PC and then format the card through camera, this will solve your problem.(Remember that run recovery software before you format the card if you need to get back your data from memory card)
Thanks

How to transfer pictures from memory card to pc

If your computer doesn' have a SD card slot, then you will have to use a usb cable. You have to have the drivers already installed from a website or cd.
Then you turn camera on, then hook up usb.
Then you want to go to "my computer" and find the file with your camera on it. Now you can drag the photos into any folder of your choice.

LOST CD

Pecasa is a great free software. Try it.

You do not need cameras software to download pics from your camera, btw. Just plug in your camera to USB port and it shows as an external DRIVE or USB STORAGE device in your MYCOMPUTER folder. Just click on its drive letter and you are looking at your cameras memory.

Click on the folder called DCIM and then subfolder(s) named depending on camera model. For Panasonic it is 100_PANA for example. Click on this and here is your pics. View, Drag and Drop, Delete, etc any pic just as if it was already on your computer.

To down load all pics, Drag and Drop (or cut and paste)the whole pic folder (100_PANA for example) to a location on your computer, as \Documents\Pictures. To delete all pics on camera, right click on pics folder and delete 100_PANA folder. or folder where your pics show up on your camera.

Disc Error

the c:13:01 is the error code. I was researching this same thing on my camera. It 'magically' fixes itself after anywhere from 1 minute (turn off, count to 20 and turn back on)to 1 month later. This time, I lost photo-ops with my kids and their cousins. Apparently, this is a loose connector - see link- and you can fix it by 1) smacking your camera around a little (no joke, this knocks the connector back, for a little while or 2) sending it to Sony for repair (about $350) or 3) follow this guy's suggestions and fix yourself. I haven't lost any actual photos, except the first time when this happened. Since then, I've put the CD in the computer and I've been able to pull off the pics. Can't use the CD again though, even if it's not full. The camera must mark the CD somehow to avoid overlaying photos(?). Anyway, here's the link and good luck :) http://www.pechorin.com/m/2003/07/12/SONY_C1301_ERROR-202719-43.html
