I notice with Windows SteadyState and Microsoft Security Essentials, I have to run windows update and select the definition update. Can you make a script that I can use in Windows SteadyState so Security...

I do not recommend MSE for this very reason. A security program that will not update itself automatically is worthless. You should not have to worry about updates and having to manually update the program. I recommend Avast as IMO it is the very best free antivirus software you can get. It ranks higher than MSE in almost every test of this type free software. You can get Avast for free here:http://www.avast.com/index

What is an MRC file?

It is a file or script for mIRC, an Internet relay chat program. It can be created using the mIRC Scripts Editor. It is used for automating functions within mIRC, such as creating dialog windows and protecting users and channels against spam and flooding.

Internet Relay Chat, or IRC, is a program that allows you to talk to people anywhere in the world using a program or client that connects you to channels where others are conversing. MIrc is one of IRC's clients available for use, and this program utilizes Mrc files.

A file with an Mrc file extension is mIrc script file. The Mrc file extension serves as a marker to your computer, allowing it to quickly locate the Mrc files needed for the mIrc program to function properly.

An Mrc file is a script or executable feature of mIrc that serves a specific purpose. Often, Mrc files are used as a security feature to prevent users from sending too many messages on mIrc at one time or preventing people from transmitting harmful files or viruses through mIrc.

Those with programming knowledge can edit mIrc files on any type of text editor such as Wordpad or Notepad.
