My laptop turned off and now its asking for a primary user hdd password witch i dont have how do i unlock it?

You have to unlock the hard drive from within BIOS if you don't want to see that screen again. However, if you don't know that password then the laptop is not going to usable by you. Normally this prevents access to a computer in case someone steals it, since the thief won't know the hdd password and can't unlock it to access any data.

Add password

Hi there,

when the computer is starting up, you can enter the BIOS setup by pressing either:
esc, delete, F2 or F10.
or try to look good when it start up witch is the right one for your system.
In the setup, there is a security setup, and the first one down is the boot up password.
set it and remember F10 to accept the change.
