Philips 47PFL5603D LCD TV ,will not turn on,it did have flashing red lite,insted of green,then it got a clear flashing lite,now there isn't any lite on,I have unpluged it,when you plug it back in,you can hear a clicking noise

tried to check first the power supply if no any sign of bulging electrolytic capacitor this was a common that we encountered trouble.

Replaced any capacitors on the power board that have domed tops.

try checking the system for timer or sleep mode operation try to setting it off

There are some steps toget this remote programmed to your TV, we have what we call a Power Scan and itwill find the right code to your TV so you can turn it on and off. MY philips tv model number 55PL9773/17 WAS TURNING OFF THE SCREEN AND LEAVING THE AUDIO ON FOR ONE MINUTE. THEN THE YELLOW LIGHT STAYED ON. THEN THE LIGHT TURNED OFF. thEN I TURNED ON WITH THE REMOTE AND THE YELLOW LIGHT TURNED ON AND A FEW SECONDS LATER CHANGED TO THE GREEN LIGHT AND THE TV TURNED ON. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, BETWEEN 10 AND 30 IT DID THE SAME THING. NOW IT IS OFF WITH A BLINKING RED LIGHT PERMANENTLY ON. TO TURN IT OFF I HAVE TO UNPLUG IT FROM THE WALL. I REPLACE THE LAMP A FEW WEEKS AGO AND IT IS FINE.

Probable Lamp. If lamp hasn't bown the red Lamp Lite won't flash but other lamp issues cause stby timer light to continue flashing. If stby red lite is flashing, count the no. of times flashing - could open thermal fuse (6X flashing)

TV STARTS UP AND GOES BLANK SOUND NO PICTURE

Mine was doing that and I ordered a replacement power supply board for it and now it work. It's fairly easy to replace.

My 37" TV Will not yurn on . The green light goes on for 2 seconds then goes off and red light starts flashing. What Repair/Part is needed.
