I have widows Vista and am having difficulty installing my printer. Any suggestions? Lisa

    Thank you for your help. My printer model is HP Deskjet 3940. I am trying what has been recommended...hopefully it will work. Any further help would be great!!!

You need first to install your printer drivers.
If you have the disk you can install Vista driver from disk, if not you can download them from HP website.
you must start driver installation with HP printer USB disconnected from computer.
Many printers are not Vista compatible.
We can be more specific if you re;post the problem giving us the printer model.

Printer lexmark z640 isn't working on widows vista
THe z650 model does not have a VISTA driver to be able to download to make it work from the Lexmark website. SO this means that you model will not work with VISTA, Sorry.

Lexmark 1200 series
Yes there are drivers for the Lexmark 1200 series available on the Lexmark.com Website. If you upgraded your PC to Vista or installed the drivers from CD you should uninstall the printer drivers and download and install the Vista drivers .
