The green speaker socket on the back of my computer has ceased working. The green socket on the front works however. Are the front and back green sockets from the same source? Do I need to get the back one repaired or can I use the front one without problem?\r\nThe computer is 3.5 years old and I have Logitech X-230 speakers.

I suspect you have not plugged them back into the correct socket. The plug is coloured green and therefore should go back into the green socket. you have probably plugged it back into the blue or pink sockets. Use a torch to check that is in the green one.

I dont know the exact way on how to connect my logitech speaker into my desktop computer. i find it hard..

You need a cable with a 2.5mm jack plug at each end. This probably came with your speaker system. Connect one plug to the speaker system, th socket will be on one of the small speakers or at the back of the bigger base unit, then connect the other plug to the computer. The connection is usually at the back of the computer but you may also have a connection at the front. On the back of the computer you should see some sockets near each other that are colored pink and green, you plug the cable into the green socket (the same applies if you have sockets at the front of your desktop)
I hope this helps with your problem. Please get back to me if you need any more information.

Speakers don't work.

Look at the rear of the computer.
There will be different coloured jack plug sockets.
The speaker out is green and the mic. in is pink.
There may be other colours, these are for multi speaker (3.1 5.1 +) setups.
Your manual should give you a diagram

They wont give out sound there plugged into the front of the computer and in the outlet plug in BUT IT WONT WORK :( help

Be sure to plug into the "green" socket on the front of the computer, not the "pink" (microphone) or "blue" (headphone output from iPod) socket.

Try the speakers in the "green" socket on the back of the computer, to ensure that the speakers work, and the volume control is "high", and that you have not "muted" your speakers.

Some motherboards have a small "jumper" to enable/disable the front audio-output sockets.

Try the speakers when connected to the headphone-output from your iPod, to confirm that they work -- they could be quite quiet.

No sound coming out of speakers green light on speakers is on

The BA 735 Speakers I have are purely digital and will only work if your soundcard has a digital output, will not work through the normal analogue green socket .

No sound

Try plugging in earphones to see if the problem is the speakers or the output from your computer. Also, your computer output may be low power output for powered speakers and your speakers are not compatable. You may also be plugged in to the wrong output on your computer.
