This unit runs fine for one time, then next it wont turn off, or it starts to leak all over, or it switchs to manual all by itself. I suspect a ele. part, like a motherboard if it has one
:o) The JPX300H doesn't have a "motherboard", but maybe a timing module. Either way, even if the machine only runs one cycle, it suggests the timing board is working correctly. You have multiple problems. For starters, the leak is probably a loose hose clamp, most are located on the unside of the machine. The most difficult are the drain lines which are to the rear.
The auto/manual switch is pretty straight-forward, but it is a two-part assy; the button, and the switch itself. Check switch for continuity.

It seems to run ok, but about 30 minutes into the cleaning process, we notice a burning smell that comes from the top of the door and fills the cabinet next to it. We took the door apart and noticed that some of the wires leading to the control panel left their imprint in the insulation inside the door. Could this be the source of the smell and is this a problem with this bosch dishwasher?
