This dishwasher is awesome, and cleans better than any I have ever had. Because iit does not have a built-in disposal of sorts, it is imperative that you clean the filter after each use! The little filter holds onto grease and small items, and will easily clog if not cleaned. Every couple of months it is wise to als remove the circular screen at the bottom of the tub in both drawers, as the bottom of these gets coated as well. If maintained and cleaned properly, you will have super clean dishes every time!

Hello,
It sounds like the dishwasher is in flood mode. You would need to dry up the water in the base pan and test. The link below is a video that explains how to repair your fisher paykel dishwasher.

Fisher paykel dishdrawer

The controller is detecting some abnormal condition. Clean the interior of the dishwasher with warm water and clean cloth. Remove the base drain plate etc., before cleaning and clean the plate separately. Put back and try again. If no difference, then buy Finish dishwasher cleaning kit and run the dishwasher on one of the hot cycles. (You will have to keep pushing the pause button ). See if it clears everything. If not then call the technician as the controller may need replacement.

My Fisher Paykel DD603I top draw whines when it is first turned

The lid seal on the top drawer is faulty and needs replacement. It might be cut or damaged and is obstructing the drawer from closing. THis also may have caused the flood switch to trip as water can leak if drawer is not sealed.

How to get bottom drawer out of fisher paykel dd6031

I wasn't able to find an exact match to your reported model (DD603I?), but all of the DD60xx models appear to have the same drawer removal process:

2_23_2012_6_18_56_am.jpgI actually took this from the installation guide for the KitchenAid dishdrawer (also made by F&P), since it had the clearest images.

Hello where can I find the error codes for a fisher and paykel smart drive 703? It stops usually during s pins cycle (well it looks like it's trying to spins and it won't start).so it stops and...

Hi - what would youlike to know - we are forbidden by contractual & copyright laws to provide what you seek..

Besides you are lucky if parts for the 703 is still in existence - only savvy techs could salvage those as you have to modify wiring & components for it to work. I have only done this once in the Pacific islands some years ago.

Hi We have a problem with our Fisher &

First is to make sure there is no leak. Pull out the lower tube, access from the left side only this side you can put your hand in with a small tower to dry out the wetness if there is. If it is wet dry out really good then unplug the power cord for 24 hr. After that plug power cord back. Hold the lock button while press the Start button until you see a display appears. Press the Power button to see a clear display. Then hit Start button one by one until you see Ld ( it stands for Lid down) If you miss it, keep going until it comes back in a loop. When at Ld hit the lock button. Wait until the noise is stopping. Hit the lock button again. Wait until the noise is stopping. Now you can pull out the top drawer and press the power button to get out this manual mode. Good luck.

you have an overflow leak problem....shut off circuit breaker or pull fuse....let it dry out for up to 4 days; hopefully overnight; peak under dryer and feel metal drip pan and if wet you might be able to dry with a hair dryer...WHY? the lid did not seal when you put cycle on...the lid lowers and you had something..typically too bid glasses on second shelf that was above the seal lip of the tub...stack correctly after this and no worries...

My Fisher and Paykel dishwasher will not keep running.

It may be that the DW thinks the drawer may have been pulled open. On the right side, near the top. there are two light pipes on the drawer. One sends an infrared beam of light to a reflective area on the cabinet, the other receives this light. This is how the drawer senses whether the door is open or closed. Wipe these areas with a clean dry cloth...Give it a try
