Is there a center agitator? if so then you will have to somehow remove that, I only remember how to remove a maytag. under the agitator is a screen that would probably be where all that hair is

Cleaning filter on Samsung front loader

Hi! First I'm not a Samsung tech. But I am an equipment tech (retired) but more important I (sorry) WE, have a Samsung front loader too! I was wondering the same question. Where is the filter? We have 5 dogs and 2 cats so I'm pulling a lot of hair from the lower part of the door rubber (there is a small drain hole where stuff collects) But your question prompted me to really look for this filter. The following is from the manual:
* user manual WF45K6500A / WF45K6200A Page 53 (English)
1. Turn off washer, and then unplug power cord.
2. Drain the remaining water inside the drum. See the "Emergency drain" section on page 49
3. Gently press the top area of the filter cover to open (it's located at the lower left front of washer. ukeboy57) C
4. Turn the pump filter knob (A) to the left and drain off remaining water.
5.Clean the pump filter using a soft brush. Make sure the drain pump propeller inside the filter is unclogged.
6. Reinsert the pump filter, and then turn the filter knob to the right.
7. Close the filter cover.

Note; If the pump filter is clogged, the "5C" information code appears on the washer display screen.

* Final; I haven't done this yet though we had this machine for a month now and I suspect it's filthy. Warning though, the emergency draining looks messy so have the pan and towels ready. (and I just got finished tiling the laundry room floor too!)
Aloha, ukeboy57

My fountain stoped working...

If it is the kind of fountain that you can open up and clean etc, you should do that. If it is a pet dish there is a good chance that the small pump inside that pushes water from the bottom to the top has gotten clogged up with pet hair. You should try opening it up, finding the pump, and if there is a build up of pet hair, clean it out and see if that fixes it. You should also be able to watch the pump working after cleaning it out to see whether it is still pumping or whether there may be another issue like a clogged filter elsewhere.

In the meantime, turn off the fountain and unplug it, as having the pump running but not able to **** in water will burn it out.

Hi, I would like to know how i can open it to clean it. I have 3 cats and it would need cleaning. It started to empty itself on the floor, lots of water. It might be (I think) because of the cat hair...

Open and clean what? If this is a mini split you are referring to you can spray a gentle detergent on the coil.( the piece behind the air filter) Take a shopvac outside where the drain line goes out and vacuum for 10 or 15 minutes. Create a good seal for good suction. Be sure to rinse coil with water as well to prevent bubbles entering any electrical devices. Good luck.

Hi,My daughters washing machine (Hoover Nextra HNL 842) fails to empty after washing cycle.(error code 3). I intend to check the pump and float switch.I can access the pump through the bottom of the...

You should have a drain filter. They do become clogged and need to be cleaned out. If the draine filter is clogged you will immediately know it upon removal and inspection. If this is the culprit, be sure to show your daughter how to access it, remove and clean it and then to reinstall it. This can be quite frequent (8 to 12 months) depending on her environment, like allot of pet hair and things like that. Let me know if this is the culprit. By the way, you are going to have to bail as much water out of the drum as posible unless your model has an easy water shut off just prior to the filter. Otherwise, all the water left in the drum will run out of the filter assembly when you remove it. With any luck the filter is the culprit and not the pump.

Getting error F 02 and a beeping from washing machine.

F 02 Is a slow or long drain.
Things to look for kinked drain hose, Plugged or obstructed drain hose, Possible pump filter screen clogged, Least unlikely is a drain pump failure.
The pump filter screen is the most common it gets plugged with lint, coins, hair etc. It can be cleaned by the owner however is is a very dirty messy job and if you are not very careful you can end up with water everywhere. If you want to attempt it let me know. If there is anything else I can do to help please let me know.

Poor pickup especially cat hair

If you have a bagless, you filters are clogged. There are usually several filters in a vacuum... even the dyson. Bagless clog quicker with pet hair. If you have your owner's manual, use it to find all of your filters, take them out, replace them or clean them the best you can. Put all of them back, and it should work better.

Is there a filter and how/do I need to clean it?

Hi, These do not have filter that can be cleaned or changed. If you notice water draining slow at any time, you will need to open up the pump (not hard to do) and clean out any lint.
I hope this helps you. If I can assist you further, please let me know.
