We know that 1 kilometer is 100000 cm. We only want half a kilometer so divide 100000 by 2 (100000/2) this gives us 50000 cm. The blocks are 20 cm long so we divide 50000 by 20 which is 2500. This is how many block of 20 cm placed end to end will cover half a kilometer.

My front wipers are not working on a VW Tiguan 2010, so without a diagram how do I know what fuse is gone?

The red wire with white tracer is voltage and fuse protected, hot all the time, use a test light and check for voltage. Fuse 19--5 amp. The brown wire is ground, check them both. The white wire with green tracer goes to a vehicle control module. Not sure about that wire? If your problem is only a fuse, your lucky. I don't usually get that lucky.

Area of rectangle is 4122cm2 .width of rectangle is 3cm.how do i find the length of it

Area = length X width, and you know the area and the width. So,

4122 sq cm = length X 3 cm

length = 4122 sq cm / 3 cm

length = 1374 cm

(That is one long, skinny rectangle, isn't it?)

A rectan Dear Madam Please look at the math questions below. Please help me solve the questions Question 1 : A rectangular tablecloth is 2.5 m long. Trim is to be sewn around the perimeter of the cloth...

1. Well this one is pretty simple. Since you are not supposed to trim the length trim the width instead.
to make the perimeter 0.4 m shorter cut the cloth by 0.2 m width the picture will make it clear.
champ_guru.jpg

2. let the length of rectangle be x cm
and breadth = 20 cm
now original perimeter = 2(x+20) cm

new length = x-30 cm
breadth remains same = 20 cm
new perimeter = 2(x-30+20) cm = 2(x-10) cm

According to question

new perimeter = old perimeter /2
2(x-10) = 2(x+20) /2
2x -20 = x + 20
x = 40 cm

hence length of longer side 40 cm.

How much zoom would be sufficint 4 a super picture?

Sound travels through different kinds of matter. Sound travels through gases,
liquids and solids. 1. Hold a plastic bag of water against one of your ears. Cover
your other ear with your hand. Have someone hold a ticking
clock against the bag of water. Listen.
2. Keep the clock in the same place. Remove the bag of water. Listen.
3. Place a block of wood between your ear and the clock. Listen.
Do you hear the clock best through the air, the water or the wood?

B. 1. Place the clock 20 cm away from your ear and listen to the ticking.
2. Have your partner hold the clock at the 20-cm mark on the meter
stick. Place your ear at the end of the meter stick and listen.
3. Have your partner hold a metal rod to your ear and place the clock
against the rod 20 cm away from your ear. Listen. Does sound move
differently through some solids than it does through others?

C. 1. Take the plastic cups (telephone) and hold your cup to your ear
while your friend talks slowly and clearly into the other cup. Keep
the string tight. How does it work? What is vibrating? How do the
vibrations of your friend's voice reach your ear?
2. Can a third person talk and listen if another cup with a string is
attached? Take the separate cup with the string and attach it to
the first line. Keep all strings tight while one friend talks into
one cup and the other two friends listen. Can you hear the message
of the third party? How many lines could you attach? Does each
addition weaken the vibrations?

Adjusting a casio s940db watchband

  • On the inside of the band, locate the links with the arrow etched on them. The arrows mark the removable links.Lay the watch on its side on a flat surface with the arrows pointing downward. Be sure to leave about 1/2 cm of space between the bottom of each removable link and the flat surface. Using a 1/32" flat head jeweller's screw driver (or metric size 1.0), insert the tip of the screw driver into one side of the removable links' pin holes. You will find that the pins have an end that looks like a screw head. This is misleading - press down very firmly on the other end. Press downward firmly to make the pin pop out the other side. Be careful not to lose it.Remove the pin on the other side of the arrow-marked link.Repeat as necessary to remove half the needed links. You will remove the other half from the other side of the band to maintain equal band length.Flip the watch over so the arrows are pointing upward.Align the holes in the remaining links. Insert the rounded edge of one of the pins into the open link hole. The pin will go in without trouble until the top.Holding the pin in place, carefully flip the watch over again and firmly push the pin fully into placing using the flat surface. The pin will snap into place.Repeat for the other half of the band as necessary.

    Ryobi rlt30ces trimmer

    Hi there, takes a bit of working out without a manual, but try this....take bottom half of trimmer line spool off, get piece of spool line approx 60 cm, long and thread through centre holes, ( bit fiddly but ) pull line through until you have equal length on both sides, dont try and wind it up onto the spool, just put ends of line through outside cover holes, then lock spool in place in other half. now simply wind the knob at the end and the line should retract into the spool., sounds complicated but really isnt, best regards and good luck, Philbee
