Right head cam seized up

overhead cam heads do not usually have cam bearings. If your cam has seized, it properly damaged the cam journals. Your heads might have removable cam journals, but not likely.

We removed the cam and did not pay attention to timing marks. the engine was rotated without cam in it. How do we set the timing?

Take the cam out and put the piston at TDC
Look at the cam with the cam gear facing you.
Turn the cam until both lobes are down(on the bottom of the cam)
Look at the cam gear, there should be 2 marks across from each other at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock
Those marks need to be parellel to the head when you set the cam in the head, carefully place the timing chain around the cam gear, trying not to move the cam.
Once you have the chain on, push the cam down in its slots in the head and look ate the timing marks on the cam gear.
They should be parellel with the head, and straight across from each other.
Recheck that the piston hasn't moved and your still on TDC.
If all is good put the rockers/valve cover on and timing chain tensioner in. Tighten the cover to specs then adjust your valve clearances to specs and your done with the timing.

Machine Elna Supermatic 722010 When I sew with a single cam all works properly the problem comes with any twin cam, the upper cam follower has a spring holding it away from the cam, how do I get the upper...

tally_girl_2.jpg I don't suppose it would be so simple as setting the wheel inside the elnagraph to "A" to engage the automatic stitches? I've done it myself once or twice LOL.

2006 rmz250 When I torgue the cam bearing

Are you CERTAIN the two cams have not been switched? Chances are there will be the letter "E" on the side of the exhaust cam gear and/or an "I" on the intake cam. The diagram below is for a WR250. I don't have a manual for an rmz250. Your cams are probably the same. Note that the caps should tighten to only 7.2 Ft lbs. (10nm / 1.0 m-kg ). Many other things could be wrong. Was the cam assembly removed incorrectly? Doing it incorrectly can damage the cam, cam caps and cylinder head. Is the cam runout out of specifications ( .0012 )? Are you using a standard torque pattern? ( Cris-cross from inside to outside ) for installing. The reverse when dis-assembling. It may be best to let the shop figure out the problem and do the repair on this one.

Probably the driver isn't installed properly. Try updating the driver for PC-CAM 300 and PC-CAM 600.
