I have a Sony 80 GB GigVault Harddisk which I used when I had my previous business and have not used it since, however I remember daily backing up my data on a regular basis daily basis and had the facility to schedule the time and day I wished to save my data.
Now I have come to use it again there is no schedule available to be seen when I download on the CD that came with the Sony Harddisk.
Have you come across this device before and if so do you know I can gain entry to the schedule system I previously had and used. All my IT work was previously looked after by an outside IT company with whom now I have no contact with.

You need to install a software for schedule, it is not normally built in.
If you provide details about your old schedule software, like name of software or capabilities I can find a download.
If you just want to schedule backups on CD and on Hard disk you can buy Norton Internet Security.

Windows also have its scheduled backup system, you find it under control panel.
If you tell me what version of Windows you have , I can provide instructions on how to set up the built in backup
